A Grand, Old World European Setting!

Without a doubt, Grandover Resort is one of the premier resort destinations in America. Once you have had the opportunity to savor the elegance of the hotel you can easily imagine that you have been transported to the European continent. Around each corner is elegance and charm. And a world-class golf course to go along with it!

The public areas at Grandover depict a grand, European style castle.  The elegant lobby evokes an old world feel, with a contrasting floor pattern of Italian travertine, Tazmanian gold limestone and black granite, combined with large columns of Spanish marble.  Chandeliers, lamp posts and gilded iron work further enhance the décor.  Signed, original oil paintings show a variety of historic life in and about the grand old hotels of Europe.

Grandover has been designed from the onset to function as a first class conference center, with meeting rooms to suit every need.

Meeting planners can choose from a great variety of facilities.  Whether an intimate business retreat or a larger annual conference, our 45,000 square feet of meeting space and 1500 acres of landscaped grounds accommodate any type of meeting.  Theme parties add award winning dimensions to your conference.  Our Banquet and Conference staff will provide the imaginative thinking and technical skill to transform a typical meeting into a memorable event.

Grandover offers one of the most state of the art conference facilities in the nation.  With features such as touchpanel control, automated audio and video routing, high bandwidth Internet data lines and Ethernet support built into each meeting room, we can address the technology needs of every client.

Numerous patios, terraces, foyers and lawns provide ideal reception and break areas to make the business of meeting a pleasure.

Thirty-six holes of world class golf right outside your door.  Designed by David Graham and Gary Panks, world renowned golf architects.  Built amidst our 1500 acres of oak, pine and dogwood covered hills, the courses provide a blaze of color and assure golfers they are in the Carolinas, America’s heartland of golf.  Share stunning panoramas only with the deer, fox, raccoon and geese in this golfer’s paradise.

Considered one of America's Best Places To Play by Golf Digest, it was awarded a 4 1/2 Star rating. Few facilities can make a claim to such recognition.

Ken Venturi, who captured the US Open in one of the most dramatic scenarios ever, winner of the 1964 PGA Player of the Year and Sports Illustrated Athlete of the Year, is now sharing his extensive knowledge of the golf swing via his personally trained staff at the newly established Ken Venturi Golf Academy at Grandover.

The Ken Venturi Golf Academy makes it possible for students of all skill levels to develop a more competitive, enjoyable game in a short time.  One-half day, full day and 3-day schools available to instantly enhance your playing ability and save strokes on your game.

Elegantly appointed guest rooms and suites offer breathtaking views of our world class golf fairways.

All guest rooms have a marble entry foyer, marble bathroom, custom tapestry designed exclusively for Grandover and a warm and eclectic blend of custom furnishings and upholstery.  Each room has its own area rug inset in the carpeting to make guests feel more at home.
