There are two 18-hole golf courses at Pelican Hill Golf Club. The Ocean South Course descends across canyons from high above the Pacific Ocean into a series of holes etched into the rocky coast. The Ocean North Course features rolling, links-like terrain traversing ravines and plateaus.

Leading golf publications have consistently recognized Pelican Hill as one of the country’s top golfing destinations. This year, Golf magazine placed both courses on its list of the  “Top 100 Courses You Can Play” in America.  Golf magazine has also named Hole 17 on the Ocean North Course as one of the “Best Holes in the World.” Golf Digest ranked Pelican Hill as one of the country’s “Best Golf Resorts,” honoring the club with its “Four Star Award” for both courses.

Ocean South Course: Set high above the Pacific, this course offers magnificent ocean views, soaring eucalyptus and pine trees and perfectly manicured bermuda fairways. You'll also discover challenging greens framed by strategically placed white and native sand bunkers. The topographical features of the Ocean South Course include gently rolling terrain, dramatic canyon-crossing tee shots and a series of holes that border the rocky cliffs of the California coast.

Ocean North Course: This masterpiece reflects the classic Scottish links style, meandering along an elevated plateau. Dramatic elevation changes create spectacular vistas of the Pacific Ocean and Newport Harbor. True to Tom Fazio's design philosophy, the indigenous landscape has been kept in tact playing a major role in the beauty and challenge of the course.

The Clubhouse at Pelican Hill Golf Club is one of Orange County’s top destinations for both social and corporate events.  The 4,270-square-foot Clubhouse ballroom accommodates 250 for a formal dinner or 450 for a reception.  Within the Clubhouse is The Grill at Pelican Hill Golf Club where diners enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner with views that extend over the North Course to the Pacific Ocean.

Special Promotion: Pelican Hill Golf Club and its sister club, Oak Creek Golf Club also offer a very unique program, The Players Club. This is a dual program providing special benefits to golfers at both of these premier golf facilities. For a single annual fee of $500, The Players Club offers the following privileges:

Pelican Hill Golf Club (Two 18-hole Tom Fazio-designed golf courses)

  • Weekday Green Fee of $135 (Monday – Thursday)

Oak Creek Golf Club (One 18-hole Tom Fazio designed golf course)

  • Weekday Green Fee of $69 (Monday – Friday)

  • Weekend Green Fee of $99 (Saturday – Sunday)

The special rates represent a significant savings. Players Club members will save $100 on a weekend green fee at Pelican Hill and $36 on a weekend green fee at Oak Creek. The weekday savings are $40 and $26, respectively. Members can take advantage of the special rates as many times as they like during 2003.

Each time they visit, members may bring one guest at The Players Club rate. They also will receive 20 percent off all Golf Shop purchases and range balls.  In addition, Pelican Hill and Oak Creek golf clubs will host a variety of special events and promotions exclusively for those in The Players Club.
